Rock Gaming is pushing ahead with plans to take over the operational responsibilities of three of its casinos from Caesars Entertainment Operating Company.

Detroit-based casino operator Rock Gaming has begun the process to takeover management of three Caesers Entertainment-run casino properties – Horseshoe Casino Cinncinati, Horseshoe Casino Cleveland and ThistleDown Racino – with the transition scheduled for completion by mid-2016.

In February, Rock announced that it had entered into an agreement with Caesars Entertainment that resulted in Rock owning 100 per cent of the three casinos, along with the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland, Higbee Building and a controlling stake in Turfway Park. Turfway Park completed its own management switchover earlier this year.
