Carol of the Elves brings the spirit of Christmas into players’ homes all year long. The game is cheery without overdoing it. Just the right graphics and sound effects were used to make it soothing but exciting at the same time.

Graphics & Symbols

The game is set in a room filled with Christmas cheer. Players will see garland decorated with red bows on either side of the reels. In the front of the scene, wrapped gifts adorn both sides, with a smooth wooden wall to hold the reels in place. On each side of the reels are a stack of lanterns, with a green elf on the top left and a red elf on the top right.

The reels themselves are framed in gold and in each corner are panels covered in ice. These panels become uncovered when players trigger the bonus.

In the meantime, the reels are filled with symbols like a fox, reindeer, polar bear, and a white rabbit. All of the animals on the reels are dressed in warm winter clothes.

Bonus Features

Anytime a winning combination of symbols is achieved, players get an automatic re-spin for free. The symbols that made up the winning combination give off Magic Stars pointed towards the ice covered panels, which melts away the ice. New symbols are then revealed, with the possibility of creating new winning combinations.

Players that uncover all 12 panels trigger the Lantern Collections bonus feature. When this happens, respins have a double multiplier added to them by the green elf. During the respin if players get five of the same symbol on the reels at once, all five lanterns are lit up on the green elf’s side. This takes the multiplier and changes it so that players get triple the winnings. The red elf also gives players an extra life, which keeps them in the bonus round longer.
